Safe Nuclear Dump Discovered ?

According to this article, some scientists have discovered a new mineral that absorbs radiation from liquid nuclear waste.
Hopefully this turns out to be something real 
I hear they’ve just been burying nuclear waste in the ground.. can’t be good.
